With the release of Gowalla 4.0, which removes the items
and collection functionality that GowallaCollection provided an interface to, we've removed GowallaCollection from the App Store,
as it no longer serves a purpose.

GowallaCollection is a simple helper app for use alongside the official
Gowalla application for iPhone.
There is one small lacuna in the functionality of the official Gowalla app;
while you can manage the items which you're carrying readily enough, and add
them to your collection, when you see an item at a spot, you can't tell whether
or not you have it in your collection before you pick it up. Nor is there
a way to browse your collection from inside the app.
Enter GowallaCollection. GowallaCollection's simple functionality is to
display the items in your collection, and the items missing from your
collection, while you're on the move - thus letting you simply flip over to
GowallaCollection from the Gowalla app, check if you still need a given item,
flip back to Gowalla, and then pick it up only if you need it.
No muss, no fuss.

AresCal is compatible with iOS 4.0 and up, on iPhone® and iPod Touch®.
What else do I need to use GowallaCollection?
You need a Gowalla account. While
you technically don't need the Gowalla app to use GowallaCollection, I can't for
the life of me imagine why this would be a useful thing to do.
